It is not intention to pick mistakes in your posts, though it may seem to you like that.

But, here are a few nits.
'raamadvijaraaj hai' should be 'hai.n'. hai = (ekeree, singular); hai.n = (plural or aadaraarthee). All the stanza-ending hai-s should be changed to 'hai.n' .

'pavan barivaah par' is more than a nit; it is seriously wrong. It should be 'paun' (like 'maun') which means the same thing as 'pavan'. The metre is called by 4 different names: Manaharan or Ghanaaksharee or Kavitta or Kabitta. It has 8 letters in the first 3 parts of each line and 7 letters in the last part ('jaise sivaraaj hai.n'. But 'pavan barivaah par' has 9 varNa-s in it. So it should be 'paun'. Similarly 'mlenchchh' has been stretched to 'ma_lenchchh' and that extra char is used to fit the meter.

And if you want to be fastidious about writing Marathi correctly, then :

bhushhaN -> bhuushhaN (deergha U or uu)
kharyaa -> khaRyaa
tatve -> tattve
banun -> banoon .

But these are minor points. Of course you did get the 'malenchh' part right. But 'sahasrabaah' should be 'sahasabaah' which has the correct colloquial touch associated with this famous verse. If the first part is 'sahasr', the next part will have to be more formal: like bhuj or baahu, instead of 'baah'. Lata has clearly said 'sahasabaah'. The nasal ending to 'hai.n' is not unmistakably clear to my ear in Lata's renition but the word sould be 'hai.n' only.

@dn.usenet dhanyavad for all these corrections.
I am amazed I never picked up on "tattve". I always thought of it as "tatve".

Somehow I can't type the "r" in kharya - either in baraha or in the blogspot editor. Same goes with the vyanjan. Can't type a pure vyanjan. Wonder how others are doing it.

Thanks a lot for all of this.

p.s. - The spell check has made me so lazy (word ppt and excel being my primary weapons of winning the bread!!) I just give up on these corrections and publish whatever I have, to save time. As it is I am not a fast typer in marathi. I wish somebody wrote a marathi spell checker.
